Walks around Reading

15 car free country walks in South East England that are linked to form a ring around Reading. They are easily reached by train from London or Reading. The linear walks through the scenic Thames Valley and Chilterns countryside all have car free access and are between 4 and 10 miles long.

The walks are varied and visit many places of interest.

Thames Valley Circular Walk

A long distance path winding around The Thames Valley and surrounding hills in some of the loveliest countryside near London in South East England.

With access by train from London and Reading and with comfortable accommodation along the way, this long distance path can be enjoyed in sections over 2 or 3 days, or in its entirety, taking on average about 9 days to complete.
